Maxwell Elementary School recently recognized kindergarten and first-grade students that exemplify ROARS behavior.
One child per month in each class is chosen to be a ROARS child based on Respect, Obedience, A+ Attitude, Responsibility and Success. “ROARS kids are selected by their teachers and they represent the ROARS qualities,” said coordinator Courtney Hayes. Students are rewarded for ROARS with extra recess, parties and a ROARS Rally.
Students, teachers and parents attended the rally Jan. 27.
