Area students on dean's list at Armstrong Atlantic State

Three area students were named to the fall 2011 dean’s list at Armstrong Atlantic State University:

Earning that honor were: Lindsey Murphey, an art major from Dearing; Macy McNair, a pre-medicine major from Harlem; and Taylor Goldman, a rehabilitation sciences major from Lincolnton.

In order to make the dean’s list, students must be enrolled in at least nine semester hours of course work and earn a grade point average of at least 3.6.

Armstrong Atlantic State University, part of the University System of Georgia, was founded in 1935. The university offers more than 100 undergraduate and graduate academic programs in the College of Liberal Arts, the College of Science and Technology, the College of Education and the College of Health Professions. Armstrong Atlantic serves approximately 7,500 students at its main campus in Savannah and a regional center in Hinesville.
