• A woman told police a four-wheeler was stolen from her yard then confiscated by police last week.

On March 1, the victim said a friend called and told her that her four-wheeler had been confiscated by the police. She went outside and found that the four-wheeler was missing, according to an incident report. The ATV belongs to her brother.

Thomson police had tried to stop the ATV on Walnut Street but the driver fled, first on the four-wheeler, then on foot. The victim’s brother identified the vehicle as his. No arrests were made.

• On March 2, police responded to a call about an open door at Boneville United Methodist Church.

Officers found the front door had been kicked open and was hanging by the hinges. Next to the church, they found a tote bag containing cassette tapes, lipstick and two other tote bags. A member of the church told police the doors had not been opened since Feb. 26.

No arrests have been made.
