A Georgia Outdoor Recreational Pass is required to use 32 properties managed by the Wildlife Resources Division, including the entire McDuffie Public Fishing Area in McDuffie County.
The Georgia Outdoor Recreational Pass will help the Wildlife Resources Division cover the maintenance costs of properties that experience heavy traffic from secondary users.
Georgia residents may buy a three-day GORP for $3.50, which includes fishing privileges.
The annual fee is $19. Other fees apply for small groups. In trout waters, a trout license is needed in addition to the GORP Plus.
Passes can be purchased through license retail agents, or by calling (800) 366-2661.
A pass is required for people ages 16-64. The pass is not necessary for those who possess a valid WMA license, honorary license, sportsmen’s license, lifetime license or three-day hunting and fishing license.
