McDuffie County employees select food from an array of choices at their Thanksgiving luncheon.

McDuffie County employees attended a Thanksgiving luncheon at The Depot on Nov. 22.

Board of Commissioners Chairman Charlie Newton spoke to the assembled employees, recognizing them for the hard work they do for the county throughout the year.

Ruthie Thomas, the human resources director for the county, organized the event.

“I’m just glad everyone was able to come together in fellowship and we could all feast together,” she said.
