Children worked off their extra energy once again at the holiday camp at the Y130 on Main Street. The camp was offered during the Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks and will continue until Jan. 2.
Parents could leave their children for a day of fun, including gymnastics and games. On Friday, youngsters watched Alvin and the Chipmunks at the Y and then walked across Main Street to watch the latest version at Thomson Twin Cinemas.
Each day, a creature known as Elfis got into mischief in another corner of the Y. Children tried to locate the tiny character. On Friday, youngsters found him atop a wreath, above the toilet paper that had been strewn across the display window.
